The only thing I never understood about tennis is how ot goes 15,30,40 and not 15,30,45.
Worst sport ever
This helped a lot with tennis tryouts, thx. Also, great music
Is tennis good cross training for fencing?
i’m playing tennis this year i’m gonna be so bad
Thanks I’m thinking of trying out this year and I’m nervous! Hopefully I make the team..

Thanks for the video, it's so clear and easy to understand. I'm playing with my friends tomorrow so hopefully all goes well. Thanks for the video 👍👍👍👍👍🙏
Thank you.. I just brought this Tennis game an I had to watch a video like this ✔️
My only experience is tennis is wii sports ;-;
Always wondered what a Let was. Mario Tennis on N64 was unclear.
how does the foot faul work while serving? i dont really understand that
I hope you know I'm watching these because I have an exam. But your videos are very enjoyable and informative, keep it up 🙂
Any CRICKET Fan here?

Im playing tennis for over 8 years and thrust me guys that sport is worth every little bit of efort. And in this really good video to watch if you want at least a bit to learn these complicated rules.
Don't use music
Nice video
I don't know why I'm watching tennis videos on a saturday night, but I found this video very useful, now I can continue watching tennis matches and understand what the heck is going on
Beautiful vid. Tennis is really cool. 💗
What is breakpoint in tennis
A bit of useless info, just wanted to know how to serve, and score. When do you trade serving, alternative scoring etc.
I literally won a state championship for tennis this weekend… idk why I watched this😂
Thanks for posting! 🙂
i already know all the rules why am i here
Wait, so suppose if the ball gets hit to my side and it bounces once. Do I have to hit the ball immediately before it bounces?
Thanks I have a tournament later
I play table tennis competitively so a lot of this stuff makes sense. Just on a court with a stringed racket and larger ball
tennis and volleyball are cousins
Wow! Good job with the video! 2019 anyone? I start tennis tomorrow and I'm sooooooooooo nervous😣😣😣
You must serve the ball diagonally
Thanks this really helped
Coco vs Naomi brought me here. I don't know much about tennis, but I respect their dedication to the game and want to learn more.
i already know the tennis rules but i feel like he made it more complex
I’m going to be a junior in high school and decided to do tennis because it’s something I’ve always wanted to do but I’ve been too scared. I played a few times before and I wasn’t too bad but I have my first practice tomorrow morning and I’m scared because many of my soon to be teammates have played for a few years and I’m intimidated by them. I am only comfortable with one of the girls on the team but I’m pretty sure she’ll be staying with her other friends and I’m just nervous about the whole social scene.
Its 2 sets for men in most tournament only in grand slams its 3
I’m starting tennis this year.
Thanks!
Probably the most simple and straightforward explanation ever. Great work.
I'm finally going to go to tennis in one hour
I’m playing tennis next year (well in a couple of weeks bc school starts August 19 for me) and I haven’t played tennis since seventh grade and I’m now a freshman going into high school and I feel like I won’t be good enough :(, but for now I will try to practice more on my footwork bc that’s what I had trouble with. I just hope I will not be thought less of ..
You change side every odd number of games
2:53 – you say that a Let requires the ball to have hit the net on a serve and land in the opponent's area, yet the video shows Murray's serve hitting the net and bouncing off wide. Is that a let, because it didn't bounce back onto Murray's side of the net? Or is the clip simply a misrepresentation because a Let must still land within the legal square on the opponent's side?
2:10 can someone inform this man that the tennis racket is in fact, not part of the body. Thanks. 😂
Very helpful video! Thanks!
So men have to win more games than woman and yet woman get equal pay? Lmao.
Scoring system is very strange. Took a lot of time to understand
Great video, thank you for making this. Its very easy for me to understand and comprehend
still confused ngl
Thank you so much.
Do you have to hit the ball inside of the rectangle?
What if the ball hits the top of the net and makes it to the other side during a game, do they carry on? Or does a point go to the other player.
Get all the explanations about “deuce” but still can’t see why they just don’t call it 40 all. After all we know you need 2 points to win the game after that, we don’t need to be reminded!
