  • the only top spin forehand I ever had was a 70's style WTA HI-ARC shot that would just catch the backline. So the opponent had to catch the bounce quickly or be SOL. But that is an obsolete shot today….

  • Horrible technique. You always want to use your largest muscle, which is your bicep not you wrist to bring your racquet around for added top spin.

  • I tried many topspin and my shots still don’t land in…can you please tell me how to land way more shots in because my main reason I keep losing is because I’m making too much way too much unforced errors.

  • Not a bad video overall but at 2:55 when he mentions the ball going 10 feet long and about 6 inches above the net I’ll just say I’ll be real fucking impressed if I ever see someone hit a ball that low that goes out by 10 feet. Literally almost impossible for it to go that far out unless the ball has absolutely no rotation

  • Who can see bevels halo at 9:33 ? If nothing comes from nothing, this should be a message from above! 😀

  • Question:  Does a more tightly strung racket make it more difficult to hit topspin?  It seems to me that a loosely strung racket "grabs" the ball better and allows you to place much more spin on the ball.
